British Flower Week at The Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa

Remember June? All that beautiful sunshine that seems a long time ago as we near the end of a pretty dismal summer of British weather. As well as beautiful sunshine, June was when we saw the most beautiful display of British flowers I think we have ever seen..

The ingredients were simple. Take the beautiful, historic, Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa, add in one very talented floral designer in the form of Shirley Dee from S&A Floral Designs, mix with a beautiful array of British Flowers and you have the stunning display that was the Petwood Hotel entrance for British Flowers week.

It was great to see the display come together from scratch and also to hear all the comments from visitors as we were taking photographs. Everybody who walked past commented on the beauty of the flowers and the aroma was unmistakably that of an English country garden.

Lastly we cannot say how beautiful the work of Shirley Dee from S&A Floral Designs is.
