Set in 30 acres of rural parkland, in the shadow of Kirkstead Abbey Ruins, Abbey Farm is one of my favourite wedding venues. The centrepiece is the beautiful Oak Barn, built in a traditional Lincolnshire style.

For people looking for a Louth Wedding venue that is quirky and outside of the usual hotel venues, I have a perfect location for you. Louth Town Hall is possibly one of the coolest venues on this list and is definitely a hidden gem at a great price.
Louth Registry Office is located on the ground floor of the venue, making it easy to pop upstairs for your reception. However, the ballroom is fully licensed for Civil Partnerships if you want to get married in the amazing space it offers.
As an added bonus, the space is used for concerts so you can have access to a professional-grade sound and lighting system allowing you and your guests to dance the night away.

Howell Manor. Howell, Sleaford
I’ve known Elaine & Mark since the beginning of their Howell Manor Weddings adventure. Howell Manor offers the perfect location for your wedding. There is space for a marquee or a Tipi in the grounds, meaning you have several options for your reception.
There is also a secret location at Howell Manor, which is their reservoir. A beautiful space for you as a newly married couple to get some time together and take things in, including a bottle of Champagne provided just for the two of you. This space makes for the most beautiful photos and is a real gem of this venue.
However, I’ve saved the best until last. If you get married at Howell, there is the on-site St. Oswalds church. Totally off-grid and lit only by candlelight, if there is a prettier church than this one, I have yet to find it.

Boston’s Guildhall is a beautiful venue that many getting married in Boston overlook. If you are looking for Lincolnshire wedding venues on a budget, or you just want a reception venue that allows you to stamp your own style on it, you really should start a search of village halls.
I am sure when I say village hall, you are thinking of those monstrous venues built in the 70’s and 80’s and whilst there are many of them, there are some beautiful village hall venues in Lincolnshire that really are some of the nicest venues out there and incredibly reasonable.
I have photographed in a beautiful school from the turn of the century that is now a village hall, as well as ones with amazing natural light and outdoor space. Finding the perfect village hall for your wedding is a labour of love, but when you find that hidden gem venue, it is totally worth it.
